STATUS INQUIRY FOR JULY 11, 2016 FOIA REQUEST Dear Sir or Madam,

I write to inquire as to the status of the FOIA request (copy enclosed) submitted on July 11, 2016, which was received at your office on July 14 (receipt enclosed). Specifically I would like to know:

If the request was clear in terms of the documents it seeks
If there are any problems with the request that will render NIH unable to fulfill
If the request has been assigned or any other indication that NIH intends to fulfill the request
If any further information is required to clarify or, if necessary, narrow or refine the search
If any further information is required regarding payment and/or remittance
Any information such as a tracking number or contact that will facilitate fulfillment
