November 21, 2016 Confirmation of Search Criteria and Payment Terms for FOIA Request #45289

Dear Sir or Madam,

I received on November 15 your partial response (enclosed [1]) to my FOIA request submitted four months ago on July 11, 2016. The response indicates you may not be using the search criteria submitted for the request (see annotation [1]). Specifically, where certain NIH documents relating to individual "Cynthia Barnhart (MIT)" were requested (enclosed [2]), your response indicates you are searching for "Cynthia Barnhard" the surname ending with "d" and not with "t" as per the request.

I ask that the search be done as submitted, and that any searches done so far with the incorrect criteria be redone or augmented as needed so as to fulfill the request as it was submitted. I would appreciate if the next response could confirm again the search criteria being used as corrected.

Also, your response indicates you may be working with outdated payment information as it quotes my original fee limit of $100.00. I wrote to you on September 23, 2016 with updated payment information and to increase the maximum amount to $200.00 (enclosed [3]). Would you please use these payment guidelines as needed, though it does appear that electronic remission is working well and will likely avoid printing costs.

I look forward to the receiving the balance of documents requested.
